Negotiating

Negotiation occurs when two or more parties come to terms on an agreement. All parties often engage in “give and take”, making compromies until the group reaches an arrangement with which everyone is satisfied. The parties often have conflicting goals, making compromise necessary to facilitate an agreement where everyone benefits. Negotiation is most effective when an agreement leaves all parties significantly better than without the agreement.
